  • Friday, October 10 during registration - E/PO table and sustainability information area will distribute family information (maps, coupons, etc.) to attendees who indicated interest in particular E/PO activities and discuss general meeting information related to sustainability.

  • Saturday, October 11 afternoon - Cassini Exhibition at the Johnson Museum of Art featuring programs and events related to the exhibit.

  • Saturday, October 11, 7:30 to 9:30 pm - Public Concert at Cornell Bailey Hall performance of Holst's "The Planets" by combined Cornell-Ithaca College Orchestra, with world premier of new Cassini-inspired Saturn movement by composer Roberto Sierra.

  • Sunday, October 12, noon to 5 pm - Astronomy Day at the Sciencenter including an outdoor walking tour of the Planetwalk with DPS member-staffed stations.

  • Sunday, October 12, 7:30 to 9:30 pm - Public Lecture at Cornell Bailey Hall by Sagan Medalist Jeff Taylor from the University of Hawaii and emcee Bill Nye

  • Tuesday, October 14, 10 am to 1 pm - Local School group visits to Cornell Barton Hall Local K-12 school kids will be bussed to campus for organized E/PO events.

  • Tuesday, October 14, 3:30 to 4:30 pm - Young Women in Science at Boynton Middle School with presenters and/or activities geared toward encouraging girls interested in science.

  • Thrusday/Friday October 16/17 - Astronomy Educator Workshop at Ithaca College for college-level astronomy educators, based on previous "Astro 101" workshops and the SCALE-UP performance based physics program at IC.
